 White chocolate is my latest obsession. I used to dislike white chocolate because it was too sweet. However, we had a sweets party in the last class recently. I ate some white chocolate there. I was so impressed by how delicious it was. Since then, white chocolate has been added to my favorite sweets. Luckily, Seven-Eleven is having a chocolate fair right now. This is a white chocolate cream puff. It was very delicious. They also have a variety of other chocolate products, so if you're a chocolate lover, be sure to give them a try!

  What do you eat for Christmas? Every year, my family eats clam chowder at Christmas. That's because it's my father's favorite dish. My mother always makes it. But this year, I tried it. This recipe is different from the one my mother usually makes. I'm a competitive person, so if I was going to make it, I wanted to surpass my mother's recipe. I don't usually cook, so I had a hard time cutting the vegetables. It tasted good, but I still wanted to eat my mother's version. Also, my father said it was delicious, but I think it looked more delicious when I ate my mother's version. It's frustrating, but I also like my mother's clam chowder, so I'll ask my mother to make it again next year.  Finally, the test is starting next week, so I'm very busy this week. There are many things I need to remember, so I have to study hard. Also, I scheduled my part-time job during the test period, so I have to work hard at it. I feel like I'm going to gain weight because I can't work hard without delicious food.

 It's been cold lately. Fights over the stove have become an annual tradition in my house. Not only are there fights between people, but the cats are also fighting for the warmth of the stove. I have three cats, and they are all overweight so only two of them can fit on the stove at a time.

 It's been snowing a lot recently. It seems like it's taking a while for a lot of snow to fall this year after winter began. My friends from other prefectures were surprised and seemed to enjoy the amount of snow that fell. When I see a lot of snow falling and the scenery piled up, I feel the coming of snow. The bad thing about a lot of snow is that it makes transportation inconvenient. However, no matter how many years pass, I get excited and happy when I see snow. I am very impressed when I wake up in the morning to a landscape covered in snow. This is winter in Niigata.
